The free MailPanda app for Shopify

Account linking, automatic Shopify sync, catalog browsing, collected-record details and CSV export inside Shopify Admin.

MailPanda's Shopify app is a free data connector. It links your account to an authorized workspace, imports store data using the permissions you grant, and shows saved products and collected customer records inside Shopify Admin. There are no app tiers, subscriptions, usage charges or paid unlocks. You do not need a payment card or a paid MailPanda plan for these data tools.

The native app does not create campaign or flow plans, generate AI designs, edit email copy, approve designs, rebuild delivery previews, connect Klaviyo or publish drafts. Those are separate standalone-webapp workflows. This page explains the native data tools, the access checks behind them and the meaning of the saved import status, so you can decide what to inspect or export.

Install and link an authorized account

Install MailPanda from the Shopify App Store or open the app through Shopify Admin. Review Shopify's requested permissions before continuing. The secure setup verifies the active store session, then the Link account action opens a separate sign-in and confirmation step. Return to Shopify after confirming the account. Private workspace data stays hidden until the current account-to-store link is verified.

An active installation and current account permissions are required even though the data tools are free. A saved URL does not grant access to another store or workspace. If setup or a permission update is unfinished, use the app's explicit recovery controls rather than sharing tokens, changing a URL or assuming that a previous connection is still valid.

Browse Catalog and inspect Audiences

Catalog displays the products saved by Shopify synchronization, with availability, source and whether an image is on file. Use pagination to reach later rows. The catalog is a read view: opening it does not edit products, publish anything to your storefront or start an email campaign.

Audiences lets you review collected contacts and other stored customer records. Open a record to inspect its full saved details. Access follows the linked workspace and your account permissions; free access is not public access. Records reflect what MailPanda has collected, so a list view or an import timestamp should not be treated as proof that every Shopify field is current.

Export CSV batches deliberately

Choose Download CSV batch in Audiences to request a batch of the selected collected records. If more records remain, choose Download next CSV batch to continue. Each action is explicit; a visible first batch is not proof that the entire audience has been exported. The interface reports requested records and whether another batch is available.

CSV files can contain personal customer information. Keep them private and review the records you actually need. If a record is too large for the CSV response, inspect its full details in the app. Exporting saved data does not generate a design, change marketing consent, enroll someone in an email flow or send a message.

Understand automatic sync and saved status

Shopify synchronization continues through the active installation and granted permissions. The initial catalog and customer imports are separate from later automatic Shopify updates. Integrations displays the saved catalog import time, customer-import progress and storefront-event connection status. The exact available records depend on the permissions granted and the imports that have completed.

Check Shopify connection status reads those saved records. It does not start another import, repair email previews, connect Klaviyo or create a subscription. A timestamp shows a recorded import or batch, not a complete reconciliation certificate. If permissions need approval, reopen MailPanda from Shopify Admin and follow the secure permission flow before expecting more updates.

Free data access and disconnecting

The Shopify app costs $0 and offers no paid app plans. Its data tools do not expire with a separate email-feature trial. Account linking, workspace authorization, an active installation and required Shopify permissions still apply. Old links to campaign, flow or email-review screens show an unavailable notice and a route back to Home; they cannot unlock a different native feature.

To disconnect the store, uninstall MailPanda from Shopify Admin's Apps page. Shopify revokes the app's store access, and synced store data is removed in line with MailPanda's privacy policy. Removing this data connection does not activate or stop a separately configured email-delivery workflow. For data-access or deletion questions, use the support contact in the help center.

Frequently asked questions

Does the Shopify app need a paid plan?

No. The Shopify app costs $0, with no app tiers, subscriptions, usage charges or paid unlocks. Its scope is account linking, automatic Shopify sync, Catalog, Audiences, collected-record details and CSV export. A paid MailPanda plan is not required for these data tools.

Do I need Klaviyo for the Shopify app?

No. The free Shopify app uses Shopify for store data and does not connect Klaviyo, create emails or publish drafts. Klaviyo publishing and email-creation features belong to the standalone MailPanda webapp.

Does checking connection status import the latest records?

No. That button reads saved connection and import status without starting another import. Automatic Shopify updates use the active installation and granted permissions. A saved timestamp is not proof that every record has been reconciled.

The install failed halfway through — what now?

Reopen MailPanda from Shopify Admin and use its secure setup retry. Complete any permission review, then link the authorized account. If it still fails, contact support with the store name and visible error; do not share Shopify session tokens or account credentials.
